cubs around the world!

last week Jacob went to cub scout day camp. It was a four day camp, for boys ages 8-10.  Jacob was invited and able to go because he was almost 8.  He loved it!  His favorite stations were archery, BB guns, leather work and wood working projects.  He was so proud of everything he made.  It was also really hot each day.  over 90 on the day that Trent and I volunteered.  for 7 hours outside.  I was amazed and so thankful for all the people who pulled this off. 

each group was assigned a country and they travelled the world.  what are the odds that Jacob was assigned Japan!!!

Hammering nails was hard!  This treasure chest was full of crooked nails and one side fell off just as we got home.  Ryan had to put it back together and add a lot of reinforcement nails.
