Jacob is 9!! His birthday was a few weeks ago. He requested cinnamon rolls and sausage for breakfast. That day we went to our orthodontist family picnic with lots of treats and arts and crafts. Then spent a lazy afternoon at the lake and home for presents. Jacob hates cake, so instead, we had one of his favorites, oreo cookie pizza.

Most days, Jacob wakes up around 7:30 am and then Trent and Emily sleep in until 10 am. The night before Jake's birthday, Emily said that she thought the nicest thing she could do for Jacob would be to wake up at 7:30 am and play with him. So she set her alarm and that's what she did! It was so nice.
legos were his favorite present. He spent all day working on this. (and few days later, also got a much needed hair cut)

I'm sorry if anyone around here tried to check out a dinosaur book this summer. We had every single dinosaur book at our house. and kept renewing them all summer long.
still a picky eater: we started making Jacob take one bite of what we were having for dinner. It's been rough, but now he can eat chicken without gagging.
