The lakes in our area have frozen over! This has never happened before, as long as we can remember. There's been a lot of debate on whether or not it's safe to venture out...so we played on the ice for only about 10 minutes and didn't go too far out. The boys tried curling with a branch and a rock, and also loved using Trent's remote control car on the ice.
this lake is 79 acres (according to wikipedia) and was completely frozen over. we saw people walk all the way across.
