The second week of summer Trent headed off to EFY in Tacoma, about 1 hour south of us. He went alone, but loved his roommate and ended up in the same group as 2 boys in our ward. He had a blast. Also, he learned how to do the worm. It's hilarious. Then the day he came home from EFY he got his driver's permit. driver's ed, here he comes!
Emily is either working, doing her summer school online health class or hanging out with friends. If she is with friends there is a 90% chance they are watching a Disney movie and trying out a new pinterest recipe.
Jacob attended a 4 day jazz band camp with a friend. He played the trumpet and had theory/rhythm classes. It's amazing how much you can learn in four days. Every day he would come home and say, "my mouth is so tired. I need to go home and rest my mouth!" He will probably play trumpet in the band this fall when he starts middle school.
