RIP 3 hour church

Today I surprised the kids with a cake to celebrate this historic day!  the last time we will attend church for three hours.  Someday my kids will be able to tell their children that "back when I was a kid, I went to church for three hours!"

We are excited for 2019, the new changes and focus on home study.  The extra hour at home is to be used to study as a family.  Although we might spread it out and do a little each day during the week. 
Except, Trent, my 16 year old said he's not excited for this change, because it means less time with friends and more time with family.  He then said that since our family is so boring, he is not looking forward to studying at home together!  ha ha!
