Beach parks are all over the place here, because every few miles you will stumble upon another lake. This week, we tried out Newcastle beach park, on Lake Washington and loved it! It's in my top 3 favorite beach parks. beautiful, soft sand, a dock for the big kids to swim out to, tons of grassy area for picnics and a fun playground.
Emily and Jacob both brought friends, while Trent and I enjoyed our lazy afternoon on the blanket. The day before, Trent had a skateboarding accident. His finger got caught, while he was sitting on the skateboard, using his hands to push himself along in the street, and it ripped his entire pinky fingernail off. There's nothing left. It was a giant, gross, bloody mess. So he is taking it easy and letting it heal.
