For our last week before school starts, and before the rain comes back, we did a few family outings. Denny Creek, is about 30 minutes from our home. A short, very family friendly, 1 mile hike, leads to waterfalls and smooth, natural waterslides. basically, a massive rock face where the creek goes through. There was a few hundred feet of play area. The kids, played in the waterfalls, slid down, and one area was deep enough to dunk your head under the water, which was freezing!! It was really fun.
