7:30 am: Ryan leaves for work
8:10 am: Jacob wakes up and gets in bed with me. we talk about our favorite Dr. Who monsters and eventually go downstairs and watch a Dr. Who episode
10:00 am: Emily and Trent wake up
10:15 am: boys start chores. bathrooms, washing sheets and practicing cello
10:30 am: physical therapy for Emily
11:30 am: divinity attempt #4. FAIL. give up on making divinity this Christmas. It's not going to happen
12:00 pm: make your own sandwiches for lunch. turkey for trent, egg salad for Emily and peanut butter for Jacob. After I took this picture, Jacob threw a fit and said he could not eat his sandwich because it had touched Trent's sandwich.
1 pm: Learning RX for Jacob--a brain training/tutoring 6 month program we've been doing. It's so fun, he really likes it!
3 pm: the boys play hide and seek outside in the pouring rain with the neighbor kids for 1 hour!
4 pm: hot shower for Trent, bubble bath for Jacob. It's already dark outside and feels like it should be time for bed!
4:30 pm: Emily's best friend Cameron comes over for some Christmas baking--peanut butter Hershey kiss cookies, peanut butter bon bons and caramels. I take the boys to the library to give the girls some time without the little brothers, and Ryan gets home from work
7 pm: delivering the last of the Christmas treats to Trent's scout leaders (notice no divinity on the plates!)
8 pm: play ticket to ride with the boys. Trenton wins and Jacob cries. he hate to loose!
9 pm: Cameron goes home, and the whole family watches an episode of Merlin.
10 pm: put kids to bed, Jacob is working on a special Christmas surprise in his room that we are not allowed to see so we say goodnight in the hallway
Ryan and I stay up and watch an episode of Friends and go to bed at 11 pm!
