Saturday was a beautiful, sunny day for our ward Easter egg hunt at my favorite park, Pine Lake Park. It was fun to have Nana with us that weekend. She flew home Monday, the day after Easter. She liked hiding the eggs for the primary kids and was taking videos of the actual egg hunt. it was kind of crazy.
Trent is in the front for the rope pull
Nana does not have any siblings and Japan doesn't have any holidays where kids get insane amounts of candy, so Jacob taught her how to organize, sort and trade her candy. and for the first time EVER, Trent was my first child to finish off his Easter candy first. it was gone by Monday. He is usually the kind who saves it for months.
church! Nana wore her school uniform. I think she liked church but was overwhelmed with so much English that she didn't understand and how long it was. But Ryan sat by her in sacrament meeting, explaining things to her.
That night we had Ryan's nephew, Jeff and his wife Stephanie over for dinner. They are hilarious! They live about 40 minutes away and moved up here last summer. It was a fun dinner.
