Mt. Rainier igloo campout

Trent has successfully returned from his second igloo campout on Mt. Rainier.  Now that he is 14, and not a deacon anymore, he didn't have to go, but he chose to, because he loves it so much.  Which is a little odd, because not all of the boys like it and a few chose not to go.

They left at 10:30 am on a Friday, because they would be building all day and needed to be done by dark.

First they hike in and find a nice snowy open area

then they make the blocks

Then you crawl inside and take pictures

The next day they destroy their igloos.  This was Trent falling through the top of his igloo

and of course they stop for some well deserved hamburgers on the way home!
