high adventure

When Trent got home from scout camp, we washed all his stuff and sent him off again for the teacher's high adventure, for the boys ages 14-15.  They hiked Mt. Adams, Washington's second highest peak, and then went white water rafting.  Trent had a blast!

In preparation, the boys had to take ice axe lessons.  Trent said the ice axe came in very handy and he used it a lot.  The hike was one of the hardest he's ever done, but they were all proud they made it to the Summit!  It took 2 days, and was long and steep.

DAY 2--woke up at 4 am to start out for the summit.

  • going over a 12 ft. waterfall
  • jumping off a 20 ft. cliff

basically the trip of a lifetime!!
