We celebrated Jacob's birthday in three parts this year.
PART ONE: Jacob got to invite one friend to take to Wild Waves. They had a blast. and my wallet didn't get stolen like last time!
PART TWO: on Jacob's actual birthday he went to cub scout day camp, which meant he was gone from 8 am - 5 pm. They sang happy birthday to him, (which was embarrassing for him) and I had packed goody bags full of treats and little toys for the boys to play with on the 40 minute drive home from camp.
leaving for camp
When he got dropped off from camp, we had this minion balloon waiting for him on the porch and he jumped out of the car and was SO excited!
PART THREE: a family party that night. pizza, and brownies, Since he hates cake and all frosting. The lego mold was perfect!
he got walkie talkies. and then Emily drove him all around the neighborhood to see how far apart they would still work. (only about half a block)
He also got a new Nintendo 3DS because his got stolen about 2 weeks ago. He left it on the chair in the Nordstrom shoe department. and when we remembered and called the store, it was gone. SAD!
side note: yay back to school shoe shopping! and the Nordstorm anniversary sale! Emily was super excited for these boots in brown and these, sneakers in black.
an attempt at a birthday interview...
Happy Birthday, Jacob! We love you!
