India

Ryan recently returned from a 10 day business trip to India, stopping in New Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore.  Although Ryan is a fantastic photographer, he hasn't taken pictures in a few years, but I was glad he dusted off his camera and brought it to India.

He loved the Taj Mahal, but shortly after arriving, a torrential thunderstorm began.  It also took him 5 hours each way from his hotel so it was a very long, wet day.

below--this is supposed to be a grassy area behind Ryan

His thoughts on India
  • loved the food, but it didn't love him.
  • beggar woman at the Taj Mahal wouldn't leave him alone
  • cars stopped in the middle of the city for a random cow crossing the street
  • heat and humidity was awful
  • overall, really enjoyed his trip and said he would love to go back with me.

A 1 night Korea layover gave him time to stop at a palace.  The surprising thing to Ryan was how much it felt like Tokyo except he couldn't read or understand the language.
