metal mouth

Trent got braces today!  he has already had a mara/expander combo for the past 6 months and now the braces as well.  basically, he has a lot going on in his mouth right now. 

It's interesting to see how each child's mouth develops so differently.  by age 12, all of Emily's permanent teeth had already grown in.  and with Trent, at age 13 he had only lost 8 teeth.  he lost all the other teeth, very quickly, within 6 months and now is finally ready for braces at almost age 14.  He's been wanting braces for a while now, because all of his friends have braces and he just wants to get it over with.
