We have had three successful days of school so far! Emily is in 11th grade, Trent in 9th, (high school!) and Jacob, in 5th. So far so good. Everybody is happy, excited and comes right home to start their homework. I wonder how long this will last.
Emily spent all of Labor Day weekend working on her AP English summer reading/project that she procrastinated all summer. Ryan and I tried to talk her out of signing up for such difficult classes (aren't we great parents!) but she wouldn't have it. so she is taking AP English, calculus, physics, AP US History, Japanese 3 and choir.
Trent has been very relaxed and not stressed at all about starting high school. but that's his personality. so easy going.
Jacob came home today and said, "5th grade is so hard!" They have been doing a lot of pre-assessments. But he loves his teacher and enjoys being the oldest at the school.
