One of my favorite things our ward does, is a senior recognition night. Tonight, we honored five seniors. The night consists of a trivia game about the seniors, a slide show, a speech by the parents, then the bishop speaks. And in the back, each senior gets to decorate a table all about themselves! Emily is currently loving pink and blue--she wants her dorm room decorated in all things pink and blue. So it was fun planning out her table.
Carma and Amelia, the Laurel leaders, love my daughter! They are amazing. They snapchat Emily, and take a genuine interest in her life. She has been so lucky to have great leaders. It's nice to know there are other adults out there, who love and watch out for my daughter.
Sandy loves to talk to Emily about books and musicals. Sandy was one of Emily's Mia Maid leaders, and is taking Emily and her daughter (on left) to Les Mis on Saturday for Emily's graduation present. She is the nicest!
we spray painted the cake stand pink. So glad we just got a Hobby Lobby last month!
