torchlight parade

Last night some friends invited us to Seattle's Torchlight Parade and it was amazing!  We had actually never heard of the torchlight parade, but apparently it's a huge summer celebration.  Our friend went into Seattle at 6 am to stake us out a fantastic spot.  So nice!  The parade went from 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm.  Definitely worth it and we would definitely go again!

Here a few pictures I took before it got dark.

first of all the grand marshals were Anna Faris and Chris Pratt!  Except when we saw Anna Faris, we didn't realize Chris Pratt was sitting next to her since he was waving to the other side of the street.  Since parades move so slowly, Emily ran down a block to see if it was him.  she and a group of girls yelled out, "Chris Pratt!"  and he turned around and waved at them.  Emily was in heaven.  this was the picture she got.

really sad Trent couldn't be there!  He's at scout camp.

Alaska Airlines sponsored the parade and we thought dancing flight attendants was hilarious.

and the dancing pickle guy was also a favorite.
