Trent has just finished his first baseball season and he loved it. We were a little nervous, because most of the boys have been playing since kindergarten, and Trent never had the opportunity in Japan so was starting from scratch. But he learned a lot this year and improved a ton. This year was first year pitching. (no pitching machines) By the end of the season, he was hitting pretty well and could generally be counted on to get on base.
He was awarded the sportsmanship award for being most improved on the team and his positive attitude. He got a medal, which he loves so much that he sleeps with it right next to him on his nightstand.
They often played in the rain, but this was ridiculous! It was pouring.
